PA - A scan of the dog revealed the identification chip. Further investigation by police and Delaware County Animal Control found that the dog was chipped at the Glenolden Animal Hospital.
Based on initial interviews by police, Adams said,
“The dog seems to have been passed down to various family members after the original owner had the dog chipped.”
According to Adams, the animal hospital was able to provide the name of the owner at the time Bell was implanted with the microchip. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Daniel Leicht at 610-586-0502, or Delaware County Animal Control at 610-522-1113.
